We are growing fast and looking for a Director of Franchise Development to help accelerate national expansion of the LaundroLab brand.

About the Role

The Director of Franchise Development leads the full lifecycle of franchise partner acquisition, from lead generation through awarding new franchise agreements. You will build and manage a high quality pipeline of candidates, drive the Mutual Evaluation Process, and play a key role in shaping how LaundroLab expands into new markets. This role is ideal for someone who loves relationship building, thrives in high growth environments, and knows how to scale a franchise system with quality and consistency.

What You Will Do

Lead Generation and Pipeline Growth

• Meet or exceed franchisee acquisition cost goals while building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
• Partner closely with Marketing to optimize advertising strategies and lead sources
• Manage the annual lead generation budget and ensure spend is invested wisely
• Build targeted outreach strategies aimed at multi unit operators and experienced franchise owners

Manage the Mutual Evaluation Process

• Guide candidates through a structured six stage evaluation journey from Introduction to Awarded
• Use CRM tools like SiteZeus and Notion to track progress, documentation, and conversion data
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, scorecards, and analytics for internal teams
• Plan and execute Laundry Day events that showcase the LaundroLab experience
• Negotiate franchise and development agreements within established standards

Strategy, Compliance, and Cross Functional Work

• Support annual updates to the Franchise Disclosure Document and ensure all compliance requirements are met
• Oversee proper disclosure for all candidates across Federal and State regulations
• Deliver weekly reporting to senior leadership on pipeline health and performance trends
• Partner with Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, and Finance to strengthen alignment as the brand scales nationwide

What You Bring

Required

• 5 or more years of Franchise Development experience in a fast scaling brand
• Strong track record of managing the full franchise recruitment lifecycle
• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, brokers, and industry partners
• Deep understanding of franchise sales processes and disclosure regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred

• Experience with SiteZeus or similar CRM platforms
• Background in retail or multi unit franchise systems
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building new processes

Physical Requirements

Primarily a desk based role but includes frequent travel to meet candidates, attend events, and lead prospective Franchisee sessions.
