Want to lead the team that ensures our incredible community gets a constant flow of content and engagement from our characters?

We’re looking for a superstar Head of Community to take our community to the next level. Reporting to the Director, Creative Operations & Production, our Head of Community will directly manage a team of several Community Leads who keep the content and engagement for our characters flowing to our amazing community.

What You'll Achieve:

Create and execute a plan for how a strong community team nurtures and grows our audience across platforms in a way that feeds our entire business
Tap into your network of existing contacts at social media platforms to get service and support beyond traditional DIY publishing
Be the champion internally for the community in cross-functional forums while also keeping our business goals in mind; be the champion for the business to our community leads team
Optimize and grow your team to respond to the needs of the business, including recruiting, workshops, and more
Working closely with the broader Creative Operations & Production team to bring together excellence across production, publishing, and community to each story world
Ensure each Community Lead has the cross-functional support they need from the Creative team to effectively voice characters from each story world
Recruit and develop new Community Leads as we grow the number of story worlds we release
Integrate and share new learnings, and break down silos, for day to day workflow to scale Community Leads operations efficiency
Raise awareness across developing trends and digital platforms

Some Skills and Toolsets We Hope You’ll Have:

Undeniable vision for the future of community; you will be able to execute on that vision with a large team, which you’ve demonstrated you can do through your superstar track record over the past 5+ years in community management, social marketing, and/or public relations
Impeccable people management skills; you’ve honed your managerial skills over the past 3+ years of having direct reports and know how to prioritize and delegate with large teams, especially in matrixed organizations
Strong ability to inspire others with your vision and strategy, whether internally or externally
Strong ability to “manage up” to your manager and other leadership; you’re great at getting cross-functional buy in on your plans
Understanding and familiarity with how to use a Content Management System (CMS) and publishing tools; tidy content calendars are your jam
Grasp of business analytics and concepts

Nice to Haves:

Deep understanding of Discord, including server building, roles, and bots as well as community development from the ground up
Specialize in Twitter, TikTok, or YouTube
Creative writing experience
Experience with Slack, Monday.com, Notion, and similar tools
Past education or leadership experience
Fluency in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and/or Japanese
