Responsibilities

• Design Event-Driven Data Models and Tables.
• Orchestrate Data Integration for Advanced Analytics.
• Co-develop a Comprehensive Data Strategy.
• Contribute to Data Governance Frameworks.
• Oversee Data Integration and ETL/ELT Processes.
• Ensure Data Security and Compliance.
• Optimize Data Storage and Performance.
• Foster a Data-Driven Culture.
• Evaluate and Recommend New Technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a degree in data science, computer science, public health, artificial intelligence, or other related fields.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Passion for solving public health inequities and biases in health data analytics
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and designing robust data pipelines.
• Experience with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data lake, and data mart concepts.
• Experience working with data integration tools such as n8n or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Dataflow (or similar distributed processing technologies).
• Experience working with data visualization systems like Metabase.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and streaming data concepts.
• Strong grasp of data governance, quality assurance, and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Self-starter; resourceful problem solver; team player; comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services.
