Summary: The Inside Sales/Client Success Associate is a combined client success and sales role. This associate is responsible for the process of customer onboarding and retention within the business as well as uncovering new sales opportunities. As the name implies the position involves attention to both sales and customer service. This position is responsible for speaking with clients and potential customers to help them learn about the company, products and services. Their duties include meeting with clients, explaining how the company’s products or services function and providing training for the product or service. It also includes responsibility for gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships with them.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Interacting with new, existing and potential clients on a regular basis, demonstrating the product and helping the client input their data • Identifying ways to build the customer base • Manage all parts of the sales process/funnel including initial user acquisition (demos, onboardings), follow up and continued engagement. • Maintain customer engagement with our platform by providing outstanding levels of service to our users. • Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our product • Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals. • Use promotional methods such as phone calls, emails and social media to reach potential clients and build a long-lasting business relationship with them. • Work with the social media consultant • Become an expert on our product offering and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our product Determine new ways to make the carbons offset solution more appealing to generate interst in the target market. • Other related duties as required

This role requires the following skills:

• Proactivity — Be a self-starter, see things that need to be done and go do them, always be thinking about how to improve processes/methods/outcomes • Creativity – think outside the box to create exciting campaigns that grab attention and lead to sales • Data analysis – interpreting data that leads to sensible conclusions • Initiative – take charge of responsibilities • Sales acumen – understand the target audience and present information to them that promotes appositive image and leads to sales • Organization skills – staying on top of your tasks and coordinating with others to keep initiatives moving forward • Ask questions! You are not expected to know everything about this business, don’t be afraid to ask.

Daily Tasks: These are tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis in order to keep on top of all of the responsibilities of the role and to be the most effective.

• Stay on top of all inbound lead/user communication in Intercom • Follow up on any inquires for demonstrations • Input client information into Active Campaign

Weekly Reports: Be prepared to report on client sales status. • New users • New prospects • Platform engagement • Sales funnel performance • Customer sentiment, feature requests, bugs, and other issues

Areas of Responsibility

Client Success: Establish and maintain customer relationships Provide high-level technical and product support Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success

Sales: Schedule and perform platform demos for prospective users Schedule and perform custom onboardings to get users onto our platform Follow-up with users to make sure the platform is working the way it needs to for them Makes sure all sales activities are tracked in CRM Recommend new tools/processes to help optimize/automate sales efforts
