Position

You’ll be joining Acuicy in our first dedicated sales role as our Outside Sales Manager. This is a hands-on sales role responsible for driving a B2B SaaS sales cycle. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating new sales opportunities, qualifying leads, and being the first touchpoint between potential new customers and Acuicy. Your work will have a direct impact on advancing Acuicy’s mission of helping companies make decisions faster to cut carbon emissions and save costs. Location: Remote within Canada or hybrid at our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Responsibilities

  • Find and source new leads through your outbound sales process
  • Manage the early stages of the sales pipeline by communicating with potential customers through the outreach process, which includes e-mail, LinkedIn, Social Media, and cold calling.
  • Quickly identify decision makers that will help drive the sales funnel
  • Research prospects and support discovery to uncover problems that Acuicy can help solve for our customers
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of our team to identify priority prospects, drive new sales opportunities and support closing sales
  • Manage inbound leads that are driven by outbound effort and nurture early stage opportunities
  • Communicate Aucicy’s unique value propositions tailored to our prospects' challenges
  • Understand the competitive landscape of the climate tech software industry and be able to effectively communicate our unique value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals that meet customer requirements
  • Support product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our software solutions, and close sales
  • Leverage lead generation and CRM tool to track sales leads and communications along our sales pipeline
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and support closing of sales

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling software solutions or related technology products
  • Experience qualifying sales leads and conducting successful discovery meetings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Experience collaborating on sales strategy and selling
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results, with a passion for exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and sales objectives
  • An understanding of carbon reduction solutions and software would be an asset but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
