Key Responsibilities:
  1. Campaign Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute SEM strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC channels.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify target terms for ad campaigns.
  • Write compelling ad copy to attract clicks and conversions.
  • Manage and optimize ad budgets to ensure maximum ROI.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Optimize campaigns based on data-driven decisions.
  1. Landing Page Optimization:
  • Collaborate with web and design teams to create and optimize landing pages.
  • A/B test landing page layouts, CTAs, and content for better performance.
  1. Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor competitor activities to refine SEM strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates.
  1. Team Leadership (if applicable):
  • Mentor and guide junior SEM specialists.
  • Work cross-functionally with SEO, content, and design teams.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in SEM platforms: Google Ads (certification preferred), Bing Ads, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools: Google Analytics, Data Studio, or other reporting software.
  • Expertise in bid management, keyword research, and ad optimization.
  • Understanding of conversion tracking, retargeting, and audience segmentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or lead generation strategies (depending on industry focus).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SEM or PPC management.
  • Google Ads or Microsoft Ads certifications (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (a plus for landing page tweaks).
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
