aero-fuse.comEOS Atomics is rethinking Negative-Ion Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) from first principles to create compact, efficient, and lower-cost next-generation N-NBI systems. Using our proprietary Ion Beam Window Array technology, we’ve developed a new neutralizer design that reduces scattering losses and heat loads, eliminating the need for active cooling and complex vacuum systems. This simplifies system integration and enables our unique energy recovery architecture for true Continuous-Wave (CW) operation. Our NBI will be available at 400-700 keV energies and are designed to cut costs by >50%, boosting efficiency by >2x, while reducing footprint by >3x.
