🚀 Your Mission
Aftershoot is a leading AI-powered post-production software company with over 200,000 users and tens of thousands of customers. We are looking for a Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Content Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for executing the company's content strategy and driving engagement through various channels. We're seeking a creative individual with strong writing skills and the ability to produce content that resonates with our audience of professional photographers.
🎯 What You Will Do
- Execute content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes, including user acquisition and conversions.
- Grow the Aftershoot blog into a valuable resource for photographers while optimising content for SEO and AI platforms
- Create diverse content assets (guides, ebooks, templates) that help us to build trust and generate results
- Identify, prioritise, and implement new content opportunities to drive organic growth
- Manage content production schedules, working with freelancers and agencies to scale output and optimise ROI
- Collaborate across teams (marketing, design, product, SEO) to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and performance goals
- Build and nurture relationships with partners and industry influencers to extend content reach
- Monitor content performance metrics and provide regular reports with insights for improvement
- Contribute to content planning for newsletters, social media, and video channels to ensure cohesive messaging
- Maintain consistent brand voice while adapting to different platforms and audience needs
- 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, writing, editing, or a related field
- Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills, with a portfolio of published work
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques
- Experience using analytics tools to track content performance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in B2B content marketing preferred
- Familiarity with the photography industry a plus but not required
