The Role

• Work as part of a collaborative team making a social impact
• Contribute to the technical and functional development of AID:Tech platform
• Create innovative and immersive user experience interfaces
• Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, DevOps)
• Work hand in hand with our functional and technical experts

Skills Required

• Languages: Outstanding experience in Go (Golang)
• Experience building and deploying scalable production quality micro-services
• Knowledge of various AWS Services (SNS, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Elemental etc.) and other cloud service providers
• Relational and graph databases
• Version control (git/mercurial) using git-flow type workflows
• Knowledge of basic programming flow control and data structures
• Can work in a team and communicate on a day-to-day basis over Slack/Skype, etc.

Desired Attributes/Skills

• Blockchain knowledge (L1/L2)
• Cryptography/Math background (Asymmetric crypto, hashing, elliptical curve)
• Hold or are currently attending a Master Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field such as information technology or engineering
• Programming is your passion, but above all you want to satisfy your clients and end users
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Be keen to learn new technologies as well as understanding the business transformation
• Have a collaborative mindset, you enjoy sharing knowledge and succeed as a team
• Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships
