AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 20+ subjects.
🎯 Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs to elevate our social media presence
- Identify gaps and propose ideas to enhance visual brand identity
- Collaborate with content marketers to improve the visual communication delivery
- Ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across all platforms
- Develop and maintain the visual brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels
- Understand marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and target audience
- Brainstorm and develop clear ideas in collaboration with content marketers
- Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
- Manage projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring timely completion
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment
- Delegate responsibilities to other designers
- Present completed ideas to the content team members
- Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency
🏆 Experience needed
- 8+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
- Deep understanding of Saudi culture (do's & don'ts)
- Proficient in typography, color theory, layout design, print production, motion graphics, and video editing Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Premier Pro
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D modeling is a plus
- Familiarity with Midjourney platform
- Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, adept at working with cross-functional teams
- Screening & Intro Call (5-10 mins)
- Chemistry meeting (15-30 minutes)
- Technical interview 1 (30-60 minutes)
- Technical assessment
- Technical interview 2 (30-60 minutes)
