The Role Highlights 💡
🎯 Main Responsibilities
- Drive data-driven decision making through insightful reports and dashboards
- Bridge the business-data gap by translating questions to actionable visualizations
- Ensure data integrity and maintain dashboards that reflect operational changes
- Educate business on metrics, their definitions and how they're used.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Interpret data, analyze results, and generate ongoing reports using statistical techniques to inform business decisions
- Trend Identification: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to generate key insights
- Dashboard Management: Build, manage, and maintain dashboards using advanced data visualization tools, adapting them to reflect changing business needs
- Metric Development: Develop and implement processes for metric creation, communication, and education, ensuring stakeholders understand metric definitions and calculation methods
- Collaboration with Data Engineers: Partner with data engineers to design and build dashboards from concept to completion, including data acquisition, transformation, and visualization
- Task Prioritization: Translate business inquiries into actionable reports and dashboards, and prioritize and delegate tasks based on impact and effort
- Core Business Focus: Utilize advanced data analysis skills to focus on core business areas like sales and financials
You're the Senior Business Analyst we're looking for if you have:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Data/Business Analyst
- 3+ years of experience building and analyzing reports
- 3+ years of experience building dashboards on BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Ability to turn data into a narrative/story; storytelling skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Extensive knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
- Experience working with CRM data, ideally HubSpot
- 2+ years of experience in managing a team is a nice-to-have
- Screening & Intro Call (5-10 mins)
- Chemistry meeting (15-30 minutes)
- Technical interview (30-60 minutes)
- Team Meeting (30-60 minutes)
