Operations Lead
Allswell
By Glover is a high-touch financial advisory platform that embeds directly within high-growth companies, combining CFO-level rigor with investor-grade analytics, fundraising support, and continuous performance management. We operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and systems helping founders turn complexity into clarity.
We’re hiring an Operations Lead to act as the connective tissue across the firm, owning internal operations, people processes, client onboarding, financial coordination, and the refinement of our productized delivery systems.
This is a high-leverage, founder-adjacent position: an individual contributor for the first 12-18 months, with visibility into every layer of the business. You’ll help shape how By Glover scales, tightening workflows, codifying playbooks, and turning ad-hoc brilliance into repeatable infrastructure.
Operations & Process
- Build and maintain the operating system that keeps engagements moving, project templates, QA checklists, task automation, and dashboard hygiene.
- Identify friction points and translate them into durable process or tooling improvements.
- Implement workflow automations to reduce manual effort and ensure data integrity.
Finance & Administration
- Oversee billing, payments, and light bookkeeping coordination.
- Support financial reporting, expense tracking, and KPI dashboards for internal use.
- Assist with vendor negotiations, contracts, and light legal coordination.
HR & Talent
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, HR compliance, and team systems (Rippling, benefits, payroll).
- Coordinate recruiting, hiring logistics, and culture-building initiatives.
- Track team goals, reviews, and resourcing.
Client Onboarding & Experience
- Own the client intake process—from contract execution to dashboard setup and first-month delivery.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and tech-forward client experience across all touchpoints.
- Liaise with clients to collect data, monitor deliverables, and anticipate needs.
Product & Strategy
- Collaborate directly with the founder to refine our core “Embedded Financial Advisory” product standardizing deliverables, templates, and service packages.
- Support internal strategic projects such as pricing evolution, growth modeling, and channel development.
- Drive ad-hoc analyses or research projects that inform firm direction.
- Builder mindset: You don’t just manage processes, you design and improve them.
- Systems-literate: You understand automation tools, data flows, and how to make tech do the heavy lifting.
- Financially fluent: Comfortable with balance sheets, cash flow, and KPIs; prior exposure to finance, FP&A, or consulting a plus.
- Operationally obsessive: You see inefficiencies as temporary and fixable.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: You can prioritize, make tradeoffs, and execute quickly in a fast-changing environment.
- High EQ and polish: You can communicate clearly with founders, clients, and senior operators alike.
- 4–8 years total experience in operations, consulting, finance, or a startup generalist role.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects end-to-end.
- Strong command of tools like Monday.com, Airtable, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: experience in professional services, financial advisory, or systems implementation.
You’ll be joining a lean, founder-driven firm that’s redefining how strategic finance is delivered. The role offers direct mentorship, tangible impact, and a front-row seat to how high-growth companies are built, funded, and scaled.
