Operations & Logistics Manager for The Skinny Confidential Product Line
About The Skinny Confidential and the Role:
The Skinny Confidential, an influential beauty and wellness lifestyle brand renowned for its engaging multimedia content and product offerings, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This role is essential in streamlining our operations, enhancing our productivity, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for our brand.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels across all channels, ensuring optimal stock, accurate forecasting, and proactive replenishment.
- Track inbound finished goods from contract manufacturers to the warehouse (excluding product development responsibilities).
- Oversee demand planning inputs and collaborate with finance to maintain accurate projections.
- Monitor inventory health, aging, and allocation to DTC and retail partners.
Warehouse & Fulfillment Oversight
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the 3PL/warehouse, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved swiftly.
- Oversee retail fulfillment operations, including routing guides, order accuracy, chargeback mitigation, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure DTC fulfillment quality, packaging standards, and customer experience metrics remain high.
Operational Systems & Process Optimization
- Build and refine SOPs for operations, logistics, fulfillment, and inventory processes.
- Implement tools, workflows, and dashboards to increase efficiency and reduce operational errors.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and generate actionable insights tied to cost, speed, and accuracy.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with warehouses, freight partners, packaging suppliers, and operational vendors.
- Oversee freight scheduling, tracking, and problem-solving for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate improvements when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in operations management for a consumer products company, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in operations management software tools.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to thrive under pressure.
