Account Executive - Remote - $75,000 Salary + Commission + Stock Options [On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000] Requiring up to 50% Travel
Position Overview
The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing strategic healthcare accounts, and driving pilot-to-enterprise rollouts across hospitals and IDNs. The AE will work closely with procurement leaders, infection control teams, sustainability stakeholders, CFOs, and Distribution Service Organizations (DSOs) within healthcare systems. This is a full-cycle sales role focused on building long-term customer relationships and expanding enterprise partnerships, this WILL require travel (UP TO 50%).
Compensation Overview
- Base Salary: $75,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000
- Variable Commission: $95,000
- Equity eligibility ranging from 0.07%–0.20% depending on experience and performance

Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop relationships with hospital systems, DSOs, and healthcare executives
- Own the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through pilot launch, contract negotiation, rollout, and expansion
- Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Build strategic relationships with DSOs, GPO-affiliated stakeholders, and enterprise procurement teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to support pilot implementation and customer success
- Develop strategic account plans focused on long-term enterprise expansion
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within CRM systems
- Navigate complex healthcare procurement, compliance, and vendor onboarding processes
- Meet or exceed annual revenue and activity targets
- Identify expansion opportunities across departments, facilities, health systems, and distribution channels
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B or healthcare sales experience preferred
- Experience selling into hospitals, healthcare systems, DSOs, or enterprise healthcare organizations strongly preferred
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with healthcare supply chain dynamics, procurement processes, and DSO/GPO ecosystems is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building skills
