Financial reporting manager

The Role:
The Financial reporting manager is responsible for managing the production of financial reports for the company, including corporate accounting and financial reports regarding business performance, and presenting to company directors, shareholders, auditors and regulators. Reviews reports to analyze trends as well as help management to make important financial decisions that will affect the company’s budget and finances. Also, monitors company financial statements and reports to verify their accuracy and to find ways to limit or reduce costs.
Duties:
- preparing financial statements and activity reports in accordance with IFRS;
- prepare reports that highlight business finances and forecasts to stakeholders;
- seek ways to improve financial allocations, or reduce expenses;
- audit or review financial statements, coordinating with external auditors as necessary;
- ensure regulatory compliance;
- supervise other employees who assist with reporting tasks within finance team as needed;
Must-have qualifications:
- Accounting background or experience with IFRS;
- At least 3 years of professional work experience or work experience as an auditor;
- Knowledge or familiarity with Mongolian taxation systems and regulations;
- Proficiency in English;
- Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field;
Nice-to-have qualifications: Either or more of the following:
- ACCA or CFA pursuant or certified is a plus;
- Work experience within “Big Four” accounting firms is strongly preferred;
- CPTA certification is a plus;
