An ideal Product Manager should be a creative and analytical team player who will be responsible for leading and managing the entire product lifecycle from idea to implementation via strategy and evaluation. Our Product Manager will work closely and cross-functionally with software development teams as well as sales teams to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare product process, detailed documentation, 3rd party usage;
  • Create long and short-term plans and milestones adhering to deadlines and allocating resources;
  • Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities, cost control;
  • Conduct market and industry research on similar products, identify and develop differentiation strategies;
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when working with multiple units to ensure team synergy;
  • Perform various analyses on current products, develop recommendations on further enhancement;
  • Perform quality control on the product throughout development to maintain the standards expected;

Requirements:

  • Experience with (or understanding of) project management methodologies (e.g., agile / scrum)
  • Previous experience in product development field, preferably digital products;
  • Experience in conducting market and industry research;
  • Ability to strategize launching of new products, or maintenance of current production;
  • Cost control and risk management skills;
  • Professional English both written and spoken;
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Results-driven mentality;
  • Ownership and commitment to set KPIs;
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback;

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Technical knowledge (as in software-development-life-cycle);
  • Conversational or better Japanese, written and spoken;
