We’re Making Real Estate Investing Accessible to Anyone
Our mission is to empower the world to build wealth through modern real estate and credit investing.

Arrived is an investment platform that makes it easy for anyone to invest in income-generating assets—including rental homes, vacation rentals, and private credit—with as little as $100. Whether you’re building a portfolio of individual properties or gaining exposure through diversified funds, Arrived gives everyday investors access to institutional-quality opportunities without the large upfront costs or operational complexity.

What You Will Do

You'll join our Build for Scale team, which owns internal tooling, automation, and operational infrastructure. As our first dedicated Analytics Engineer, you will design and maintain the data models, marts, and semantic layer that make our company’s data actionable and trustworthy. Your focus will be on transforming raw data into reliable, governed, and well-documented datasets that power automations, AI, reporting, and decision-making across the business.

You’ll serve as the bridge between raw data engineering and business analytics—owning the “messy middle” of our data stack by enforcing quality standards, managing transformation pipelines, and guiding best practices for BI tools.

How You Will Contribute

Core Analytics Engineering Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain data marts and transformation models, following best practices for modularity and testing.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards (freshness checks, schema tests, reconciliation rules).
  • Manage the semantic layer (metrics, dimensions, business logic) to ensure one version of truth across teams.
  • Create and publish documentation/lineage so every dataset and metric has a clear definition and owner.

Cross-Functional Data Stewardship:

  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, Asset Management to define core metrics and KPIs.
  • Proactively work with Product and Engineering as the single point of contact for data considerations during new product planning and rollouts
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure clean ingestion and clear data contracts between raw data and modeled layers.
  • Provide guidance and enablement on BI/analytics tooling, helping teams adopt consistent practices.

Infrastructure & Governance:

  • Monitor and optimize the analytics layer for cost, reliability, and performance.
  • Establish governance guardrails: role-based access, naming conventions, version control, testing requirements.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for data definitions, preventing metric drift and ensuring consistency across reporting and dashboards.

What Makes a Great Fit

Analytics Engineering Experience (3–6 years preferred):

  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt, Coalesce, or a similar transformation framework.
  • Experience designing and maintaining star schemas, dimensional models, or curated data marts.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake (or another modern data warehouse).
  • Knowledge of semantic layers and defining reusable business metrics.

Data Quality & Tooling:

  • Experience implementing testing, monitoring, and observability for analytics pipelines.
  • Comfort managing BI/analytics tools (Mode, Sigma, Looker, or similar).

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Skilled at working with both technical and business teams to define metrics and translate requirements into models.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mindset—cares about data trust and adoption, not just pipelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to orchestration tools (Prefect, Dagster, Airflow).
  • Experience with business process automation
  • Familiarity with data observability platforms (Metaplane, Elementary, Monte Carlo, etc.).
  • Experience in FinTech, marketplaces, or asset/investment-heavy businesses.
