SUMMARY
Artera works with health organizations across the country that have hundreds of integrated systems, complex data requirements, and a need to consolidate relevant data into the Artera platform.
Artera partners with health organizations nationwide, providing integrated systems and data consolidation solutions on the Artera platform. We are seeking a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success, and report to the Sales Engineering Manager. We are looking for an individual who thrives on exploring new customer use cases, engaging with healthcare technology vendors, and leveraging our product to meet diverse customer business needs.
As a member of this team you will:
- Design innovative solutions on the Artera platform to address challenges faced by existing customers and prospects.
- Engage in detailed technical discussions with prospects and third-party vendors to gather requirements.
- Develop and enhance operational processes to improve team efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Innovation, Engineering, and Partnerships teams to generate integration feature ideas.
- Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations to health systems and third-party vendors.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Artera's underlying infrastructure to ensure seamless integration with various systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a product expert during the sales process – providing solutions for the Prospect’s stated business goals using product functionality. This includes providing solutions for existing customers who are looking to add new use cases to their Artera deployment.
- Serve as an integration expert for our Partnership team, effectively communicating complex technical architectures to internal and external stakeholders, facilitating integration options, and driving further discussions.
- Lead technical discovery with customers and vendors to align customer use cases with integrated solutions.
- Creative problem solving to accommodate complex customer workflows with integrated solutioning across a variety of healthcare partners and vendors.
- Communicate complex technical concepts with Prospects in non-technical and simple language.
- Assess the feasibility of prospect requests, particularly concerning integration with third-party data sources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solution engineering, or solution architect role
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role within the healthcare industry; Product or Engineering preferred
- Possess a deep understanding of HL7 v2, RESTful architecture, and API design principles
- Strong teamwork/collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to conduct technical discovery with Prospects and clients
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
BONUS
- Clinical experience in the Healthcare industry
- Product development lifecycle management
- Experience using a Healthcare focused Integration Engine
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms
- Third Party Vendor/ HCIT experience with ecosystem building
- Familiarity with EMRs/CRM/Ccass integration standards, marketplace facilitated integrations, payor and insurance workflows, various patient journeys through healthcare.

SALARY RANGE
Actual base salary will depend on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal equity.
$110,000 - $129,000 + variable
