What are we looking for:

You will primarily be working on the Astra Pentest product. It is a vulnerability scanner that uncovers vulnerabilities in targets by emulating hacker behavior. It has a dashboard for configuring the vulnerability scanner, managing vulnerabilities, team management, subscription & checkout. There is also a product website, helpdesk, public changelog, marketplace listings etc.

The key highlights of the role include:

• Being an intrapreneur: You’ll be an in-house entrepreneur & the owner of the product. You’ll need to have an intrapreneurial mindset, constantly seeking out opportunities to innovate and improve products and processes, and taking calculated risks to drive growth and success.
• Market research: Conducting market research to understand the needs of potential customers, market trends, and competitors.
• Product strategy: Developing a product strategy that aligns with the company's goals, considering customer needs, market trends, and company capabilities.
• Product roadmap: Creating a product roadmap that outlines the product's development milestones, release dates, and prioritizes features based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure everyone is aligned with the product vision and goals.
• Agile product development: Using agile methodologies to manage product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
• Product development: Overseeing the product development process, including design, development, testing, and launch.
• User experience design: Creating wireframes and other design artifacts to effectively communicate product requirements and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Product launch: Planning and executing the launch of the product and ensuring that it meets customer needs and business objectives.
• Product performance: Defining & tracking the performance of the product, including user adoption, revenue, and customer feedback etc.
• Product improvement: Iterating on the product based on user feedback and market trends to continuously improve its value to customers.
• Product demos: Conduct product demos internally and externally to showcase product features and benefits, gather feedback, and drive product adoption and sales.
• Communication: Communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and present product updates and progress to the team at large & executive leadership.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in product management or related roles within a SaaS-based product company. Experience within the cybersecurity industry or a technical product is a big bonus.
• Experience in setting the product roadmap, gathering and analyzing customer needs and translating them into product requirements and features.
• Must be obsessed with customer experience
• Should have an eye for detail
• Should understand various internet technologies
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, marketing, and customer support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Scrum, and Kanban.
