JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Office Manager, you will help with facilitating a smooth operation of the company’s day-to-day as well as long-term requirements and provide support across all the various teams. The ideal candidate is innately organized, resourceful and dependable. They have high attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Given the fast pace and the startup environment, they should have excellent collaborative and team-work skills.

RESPONSIBILITIESRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day administrative operations in the company:
  • Managing and booking meetings
  • Reserving lab spaces for work and meeting rooms on a recurring basis
  • Coordinating employees’ schedules
  • Handling purchases, procurement and shipment/receipt of packages
  • Researching and evaluating new back-office support systems
  • Help with keeping lab and office space clean and organized
  • Long-term administrative operations:
  • Plan social events, corporate events and conduct company improvement surveys
  • Help schedule customer/partner on-site visits
  • Organize travel arrangements of all employees and ensure all details are addressed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree in related field (communications, OLS)
  • Strong computer skills including business and productivity software (MS Office, calendar management, other cloud-based services)
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and Project Management software (ClickUp)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, communication, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and initiative to work and grow
  • Must be able to help with solving problems and taking initiative without much input
  • Related practical/prior experience in a professional office environment
