WIth new laws going into effect to allow student athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness. Athlytic is one of the 1st start-ups in this space. Recently, Athlytic has been featured on ESPN Radio, Forbes, NPR, Yahoo, and VH1 Networks and is currently particpating in Techstars.

About the role:

This is an entry-level position. As a Talent Relations Associate, you will help create and nurture relationships with athletic talent across the country. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sports industry, experience in digital marketing and excitement in helping grow within the technology industry. You’ll be able to vet and identify emerging athletic talent, stay on top of current social trends, be able to communicate effectively with talent, be creative with new ways to engage and recruit a team, and have the ability to adapt in the changing environment of a startup.

In this role, you will nurture and grow talent relationships, help these talents successfully market their presence on Athlytic, and acquire new talent. You must have a tremendous talent IQ, be deeply passionate about the sports industry, and have the ability to identify how talent can be the most successful within the Athlytic marketplace.

What you’ll be doing:

Identifying and engaging prospective talent with the Athlytic platform via Triller, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook.
Building relationships with current and prospective talent.
Generating communications to educate current and potential talent on Athlytic.
Communicating with prospects to pitch the Athlytic platform, educating talent on the Athlytic talent affiliate program and signing deals for partnerships.
Growing Athlytic’s talent partnerships by consistently meeting your quarterly and yearly acquisition targets.
Networking with collegiate sports organizations to generate new talent leads.
Working cross-functionally with partners from other departments including marketing, PR, growth, and product to strategize impactful campaigns both on and off the Athlytic platform.
Document, organize, and track outbound efforts.

What you bring to the table:

An extreme passion for sports and/or technology and the eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to adapt to a culture of an ever-growing rocketship company that embraces and commits to change.
A positive work ethic and a self-starter attitude.
A sense of humor and out of this world communications skills.
1+ years of work experience in the sports, media and/or tech industry focused on talent partnerships, account management, and digital marketing.
Experience identifying emerging talent and partnering with brands, networks, platforms, management firms and agencies.
Comfortable with change and can keep up with the pace that a start-up requires.
Experience with data analytics and pulling insights into talent performance, converting them into measurable items.
Humility and compassion to work daily.
Receptive to feedback, mentoring, strategic realignment and lead with no ego.
