Are you a visionary technologist with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to shape the future of AI in agricultural decarbonization? Atmo, a dynamic early-stage climate tech company, is seeking a CTO/Head of Engineering to lead our technical vision and execution.

We've already built a core AI product that's pioneering green finance for sustainable agriculture. As we transition from a fractional leadership phase to a more permanent, long-term technical foundation, we're looking for someone to drive our ambitious roadmap. Our journey has already seen us evolve from pure data engineering to making AI engineering central to our mission.

What You'll Do:

• Lead Atmo's entire technology strategy and execution.
• Oversee and evolve our current tech stack (Python, Django, Google Gemini, AWS).
• Crucially, design, build, and optimize pipelines for training AI models on complex, real-world agricultural data.
• Drive the integration of cutting-edge AI development tools and practices.
• Build, mentor, and scale our lean, high-performing engineering team.

What We're Looking For:

• Entrepreneurial drive: You're ready for the long game in a rapidly evolving market. You are driven by purpose and equity in a lucrative company that attempts to rapidly scale decarbonization efforts globally.
• Strong Full-Stack experience: Proficient in Python (can work also with Django) and eager to lead a front end tech stack transition eventually. Google, AWS and all that it takes to set up technical infrastructure.
• Deep AI Expertise: Proven experience in designing and training AI models is a must. Knowledge of new AI development tools is a significant plus.
• Passion for climate tech, sustainable agriculture, and making a tangible impact.
• A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Location: While we support hybrid work, a preference for candidates based in Berlin to foster team cohesion.
