Job Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sales Agent to join our Agency Network team in Nakuru Region (Naivasha / Olkarao / Njabini / Kinangop / Nyahururu / Mau Narok). Applicants outside of this region will not be considered. The Sales Agent role comes with a very lucrative sales commission and other incentives with the opportunity of the Agent determining his unlimited pay cheque. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, and building strong relationships with customers. 

The Sales Agents Network will be supported with promotional merchandise and sponsored events, workshops in collaboration with county governments and our partners among other industry players that will increase avenues for getting potential customers as per their KPIs. 

They will work closely with the Agency Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitors.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the company's products and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Understanding of agribusinesses and their market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Experience in agribusiness trade a plus.
  • Knowledge of exporters network a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related field.
