We are a forward-thinking health tech start-up dedicated to transforming delivery of healthcare, starting with musculoskeletal conditions (MSK). 50% of the workforce shows up to work in pain due to an MSK condition ranging from acute pain, like muscle strains, to more chronic pain. People with MSK conditions are often misdiagnosed and are treated passively with opioids, injections or surgery. Often, these expensive and risky treatment methods can be avoided altogether with more modern approaches to preventing, diagnosing and treating MSK pain. Similar to getting to the root causes of MSK pain, we are broadening to identifying the root causes of other chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, dementia etc.

Job Summary

As a Lifestyle Medicine Coach, you will conduct assessments, provide coaching sessions, track progress, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to wellness. You will also be instrumental in designing the structure of our coaching program, creating educational materials, and shaping the client experience.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for lifestyle medicine, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to create and implement effective coaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive lifestyle medicine coaching program.
• Assess clients' health status, habits, and wellness goals.
• Provide coaching sessions, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Create educational materials and resources to support client success.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in lifestyle medicine and wellness.
• Attend 3 in person work days a week and travel for occasional onboarding events.

Qualifications

• NBHWC certification
• Passion for lifestyle medicine
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a challenger mentality
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a program
• Experience working in a startup environment preferred; flexibility and proactivity are absolutely necessary for this role
• Ability to take initiative and create systems to drive your own agenda, communicating with others in collaborative spirit
