The Role
This is a role for someone early in their career who wants to learn how a fast-growing healthcare startup actually runs. You'll work alongside our Executive Assistant to support the CEO, own real responsibilities from day one, and build skills across executive support, clinical operations, people, and culture.
This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco Financial District office, with required in-office days Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Remote work is not available for this position.

What You'll Own

Report to the Executive Assistant to help support across leadership needs — support on CEO-facing deliverables, learning to anticipate leadership needs independently over time.

Own light scheduling for internal and external meetings, handling rescheduling and meeting logistics with care.

Book travel and manage expense tracking to keep things seamless for leadership.

Draft and send internal communications, meeting recaps, and follow-up emails on behalf of the EA.

Maintain and improve internal tracking systems, SOPs, and shared docs to keep operations organized and scalable.

Eventually take ownership of meeting notes across leadership syncs, ensuring action items are captured, assigned, and followed through.

Assist with vendor relationship management — tracking contracts, renewals, and communications.

Support onboarding logistics for new hires such as equipment coordination.

Provide cross-functional admin support across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams as priorities shift.

Keep the office fully stocked and welcoming — order and restock snacks, cleaning supplies, and new hire desk setups. Pick up team lunch.

Contribute to team culture — help coordinate events, celebrations, birthdays, retreats, and weekly syncs that reflect who we are.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Resides in the San Francisco Bay Area

Strong written communication skills — comfortable drafting professional emails and internal docs

Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and willing to learn new systems quickly.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and self-direct in a fast-moving environment

Eagerness to grow into an EA or operations role — this position is designed as a direct pipeline
