Azora is building modular ground stations at a fraction of the cost by forgoing large, expensive mirrors and adaptive optics in favor of arrays of small apertures and proprietary detectors. This flexible design allows us to target both civil space and national security customers: a 250-station network will deliver 400Tb/month per LEO satellite with guaranteed sub-90-minute latency, while individual terminals can be easily configured to meet the SDA's goals for tactical comms at various scales.
