Our agents (Intake AI, Scribe AI, Growth AI, Revenue AI, Support AI) connect across the entire patient journey. Clinics using Beam cut admin time by hours per day and run more profitably with leaner ops.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale Beam’s AI agent platform. You’ll work across frontend, backend, and AI orchestration - integrating with EHRs, designing core infrastructure, and shipping production-critical features that move real clinics every single day.
This is a hybrid role, meeting at our Red Bank, NJ office 1-2 times a week.

What You’ll Do

• Build core features across multiple AI agents (intake, documentation, billing, growth, etc.)
• Architect scalable systems across frontend (React/Chrome extension) and backend (Python/FastAPI/Django)
• Integrate with complex EHR systems
• Work with LLM APIs + agent orchestration frameworks to build high-reliability workflows
• Ship production-ready, high-consequence code used in live medical operations daily
• Solve gnarly real-world operational problems with autonomy and velocity

You’re a fit if you have:

• 3+ years full-stack experience (React + Python strongly preferred)
• Experience building and scaling production systems end-to-end
• Strong grasp of APIs, webhooks, async job pipelines, auth, data modeling
• Bonus: prior work with healthcare / EHR integrations (FHIR, HL7, PCC, etc.)
• Bonus: have shipped tech in chaos - startups, agency, infra, ops-heavy environments
