About Beam Health

At Beam, we’re building an interconnected constellation of software apps designed to be the all-in-one stack the fastest growing health networks need.

Our products help independent practices, physician groups, MSOs, and healthcare organizations automate administrative workflows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver a better experience for staff and patients.

We work directly with healthcare organizations to solve operational problems across the patient and practice lifecycle, combining software, automation, AI, and technology-enabled services.

About the Role

Beam Health is looking for a VP of Business Operations to help run and scale the business.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and own execution across business operations, go-to-market, marketing, customer delivery, and other core functions. You’ll be responsible for making sure teams are aligned, priorities are clear, and the company is executing effectively against both customer needs and growth goals.

A key part of this role is understanding how MSOs, physician groups, and health systems evaluate and purchase technology. We’re looking for someone with direct experience navigating healthcare procurement and buy-side decision-making who can bring that perspective into how Beam sells, operates, and grows.

You’ll also be responsible for building and managing the team as the business scales.

What You’ll Do

  • Run day-to-day business operations across marketing, customer delivery, and internal operations
  • Manage and develop the teams responsible for commercial and operational execution
  • Establish clear priorities, accountability, metrics, and operating rhythms across functions
  • Build scalable processes around sales, account growth, implementation, and customer operations
  • Own cross-functional initiatives that span sales, marketing, product, engineering, and customer teams
  • Partner with the CEO on company strategy, planning, hiring, and resource allocation
  • Help shape how Beam sells into MSOs, physician groups, and health systems
  • Guide teams through complex enterprise buying and procurement processes
  • Support strategic deals and customer relationships where senior involvement is needed
  • Translate customer and market needs into clear priorities for internal teams
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive them to resolution
  • Manage key vendors and external partners
  • Build the team and organizational structure needed as Beam grows

What You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, business operations, general management, strategy, or a related leadership role
  • Experience running multiple business functions or GTM motions
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Direct experience with MSOs, health systems, or large physician groups
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement and enterprise buying processes
  • Buy-side experience evaluating, purchasing, or implementing technology within an MSO, health system, or provider organization
  • Strong track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience working across sales, marketing, customer success, product, and engineering
  • Strong judgment around prioritization, resource allocation, and organizational design
  • Ability to move comfortably between strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Especially Valuable

  • Experience operating inside an MSO, health system, or large physician organization
  • Experience on both the vendor and buyer side of healthcare technology
  • Experience building commercial or operational teams from an early stage
  • Existing relationships with healthcare executives and decision-makers
  • Experience scaling a healthcare technology company through a period of rapid growth
