Bioledger is a software solution spun out of the oil and biofuel industries to solve the problem of compliance risk and fraud in the biofuel supply chain. Toegether with EU stakeholders and regulators we designed a mobile app and database to track biofuels from point of origin. Although the 8000 companies in the supply chain have developed their own documents and spreadsheets to track their transactions they are vulnerable to mistakes and fraud. Bioledger gathers all entities in the supply chain together to give an immutable record of all transfers in the lifecycle of a biofuel. Our Mobile apps capture rich, digital evidence at the point of origin, traded through Bioledger until it is used to apply for incentives when biofuel is consumed in EU regulated markets.
