  • Perform soldering of electronic components including PCBs, wires, and connectors
  • Use 3D printers to produce mechanical parts and post-process them for use in assemblies
  • Install, route, and organize wiring harnesses, sensors, and power systems
  • Set up and maintain test benches to validate drone subsystems and components
  • Assist in quality control checks, calibration, and functional testing
  • Handle and assemble battery packs safely and effectively, including connector soldering and balance wiring
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and organized workspace
  • Document assembly procedures, issues, and test results
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to iterate on designs and resolve assembly or performance issues

Basic Requirements

  • Passion for hands-on building, tinkering, or making things from scratch
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, ideally in electronics, drones, robotics, or aerospace sectors.
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Experience with soldering and basic electronics assembly
  • Understanding of electronic systems such as flight controllers, ESCs, and power distribution
  • Working knowledge of 3D printing and part finishing
  • Work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced prototyping or lab environment
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience building, maintaining, or flying drones (quads, fixed-wing, VTOL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with drone flight software (e.g., ArduPilot, PX4)
  • Experience with battery assembly, safety, and handling (e.g., LiPo, Li-ion packs)
  • Experience with functional testing and validation of mechanical/electrical systems
  • Coursework or hands-on experience in mechatronics, robotics, or a related field
  • Understanding of thermal and power management challenges in compact electronics.
  • Exposure to inventory systems, lightweight ERP tools, or MES systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance and testing standards.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to own and shape the manufacturing process of an advanced drone platform from the ground up.
  • Fast-paced, high-responsibility environment with the ability to directly impact product quality and company success.
  • Career path toward senior operations or engineering leadership roles as production scales.
  • Competitive salary.
