There are 73 million young people in the US. Ninety percent report mental health problems, with suicide as the second leading cause of death. Blue Fever is on a mission to reverse this epidemic by helping youth find the support they've been struggling to find online. Where to start? There are 6 million teens who have persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness that, when unchecked, have contributed to 3 million who've experienced suicidal ideation. Blue Fever's north star is to support these 3 million people over the next 2 years, with our first benchmark at 1 million. We're 30% of the way there. Today, Blue Fever is a youth-centric care navigation solution that bridges mental health needs with life-changing support via our AI companion and well-being community. We partner with clinical solutions and offer a complementary service that supports young people before, during, and after therapy with screening tools, community support, and more. Blue Fever is a supportive and accessible platform that complements therapy. It resembles social media in its relatability but incorporates empathy, clinician/youth trained AI, wellness analytics, and digital wellness skill building. It provides personalized recommendations based on our proprietary AI companion. It is a safe environment where low acuity needs are supported and high acuity needs are triaged effectively.
