Boson is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on farm automation. We are working on solving farming/agricultural automation challenges with our electric vehicles and computer vision. We are looking for a enthusiastic/energetic Technical Writer with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in automobile Industry.

The individual should be diligent and proficeint in creating technical contents who could contribute to the product manuals.

Job Responsibilities :

• Document Creation : Develop and produce technical documentation , including user manuals , service

manuals , installation guides, technical specifications , maintenance procedures and trouble shooting

guides for automotive products and systems.

• Research & Collaboration: Collaborate with the stakeholders to gather technical information and validate the accuracy of content.
• Content Organization: Organize technical information into a logical and coherent structure making it easy for the intended audience to access and understand.
• Simplify Complex Concepts : Simplify complex technical concepts and jargon into clear and concise and user friendly language catering to both technical and non technical team memebers.
• Visual Aids : Should be able to use visual aids such as illustrations , diagrams , images ,to enhance the clarity and understanding of technical documentation
• Compliance and Standards : Ensure that all technical documentation complies with relevant industry standards , regulations and company guidelines.
• Version Control : Maintain version control of technical documents to keep track of updates and revisions.
• Continous Improvement : Need to proactively keep track of the changes as well as collect feedbacks and create tutorials to help end user use a variety of applications in automotive domain.

Requirments :

• Bacherlors in Engineering or Automotive Technology.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience and familiarity with technical writing tools such as Microsoft word, Adobe Framemaker , and other relevant documentation management software.
• Extensive hands on undertanding of automotive systems , components & processes and processes Familiarity with automotive engineering and manufacturing concepts would be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to comprehend complex technical concepts and translate them to simplified user friendly concept.
