Job Description:

We are hiring multiple mid-level to senior powertrain engineers for exciting opportunities in the field of electric

powertrain design. These roles involve new product development, integration, and validation of powertrain systems

and components for Boson Motors' Light Utility Electric Vehicles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

∙Drive research, development and validation of various power train components and vehicle architectures

∙Work with cross-functional team for requirement analysis and scope development for motor, controller,

battery, charger and DC-DC converter like components

∙Concept design, prototype validation of LV and HV wire harnesses

∙Track, monitor, analyze data of different power train systems and components and benchmark to meet

performance, efficiency and durability requirements

∙Create and maintain SOW, System Schematics, BOM, test procedures and validation procedures

∙Create and maintain work instructions, service manuals, process sequence and procedures and operating

methods across products to aid in the production process

∙Test and validate components, subsystems and systems at bench level and vehicle level

∙Troubleshooting, system diagnosis, software tuning and failure mitigation of power train components and

systems

∙Analyze, calculate validate and simulate vehicle dynamics parameters

∙Setup and validate communications at system level using automotive communication protocols such as CAN

Requirements and skills:

∙Minimum three years of experience in the automobile electricals and powertrain development

∙Bachelors or Masters in Electrical engineering or equivalent

∙Solid knowledge about vehicle subsystems and components of powertrain, 12V accessories and vehicle

electronics

∙Candidate should have good organizational, project planning, scheduling and coordinating skills

∙Should have excellent knowledge in emerging technologies in the domain, industry standards, regulations

and best practices
