We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our forecasting and analytics efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling, as well as a proven track record of success in a high-growth startup environment. The Senior Director of Financial Analysis and Forecasting will report directly to the CFO and will work closely with senior leadership to support the company's growth and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of segment-based financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
  • Provide ongoing financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership, including monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including coordination with key stakeholders and the development of supporting analysis and presentations
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure business performance and support decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business trends, identify opportunities for growth, and drive strategic initiatives
  • Lead the development of business cases for new product and business initiatives, including financial projections and analysis of potential risks and rewards
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to support the company's fundraising efforts, including the preparation of investor presentations and financial analysis to support fundraising decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting tools and techniques, including SQL and Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive business results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex financial information to senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights and recommendations
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of scaling a business
