As a General Manager, you are accountable for the full operation and performance of the restaurant. You will lead and develop managers and crew members, set expectations, and create a positive, well-run environment where teams are supported and guests consistently receive great service. You will own hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, customer experience, and financial results, leading the restaurant to achieve People, Customer Service, and business goals through hands-on leadership and execution. What you'll do
- Lead the overall operation of the restaurant
- Hire, onboard, and develop managers and crew members
- Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing training
- Create and execute team training and development plans
- Schedule and deploy staff effectively
- Address performance issues and coach for improvement
- Resolve customer concerns and maintain service standards
- Drive results across people, customer service, and financial performance
What we're looking for
- Previous General Manager experience
- or at least 3 years of manager or supervisor experience in a restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record of developing and retaining employees
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, ownership-driven mindset
Nice to have
- Multi-unit or high-volume restaurant experience
- Experience improving team retention and engagement
- Strong labor, scheduling, and cost management skills
- History of promoting team members into leadership roles
