About the Role
Do you have what it takes to rally beside Emma — part competitor, part tea enthusiast, full-time paddle warrior? We’re seeking a dependable Pickleball Partner to join Emma on the court, in victory and in minor paddle tantrums. Your mission: keep rallies alive, celebrate wins like you just won Wimbledon, and pretend that Emma’s missed shots were totally your fault (because sometimes, they are).
What you'll do
- Exhibit unwavering enthusiasm for dinks, drops, and third-shot drives
- Provide constant moral support — and occasional snacks — during intense matches
- Agree to "just one more game" at least three times per session
- Call lines fairly, but also know when to look the other way 👀
- Maintain good vibes, even when Emma insists on “working on her spin serve again”
- Participate in post-match café debriefs over lattes or smoothies
- Laugh at Emma’s pickleball puns (mandatory)
What we're looking for
- Strong paddle control and stronger sense of humor
- Experience in doubles strategy and emotional regulation
- Ability to compliment without sounding sarcastic
- Must tolerate coffee breaks mid-match
- Excellent communication skills (including dramatic sighs and fist bumps)
