About the Role

What you'll do

• Lead group classes, private lessons, and clinics for all skill levels
• Create and maintain lesson plans and training programs
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve player technique and strategy
• Organize and assist with tournaments, leagues, and community events
• Manage and mentor junior or assistant instructors
• Support member engagement and retention through a positive, fun environment
• Ensure courts, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and set up for play

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience teaching or coaching pickleball or a related racquet sport
• Strong understanding of pickleball rules, techniques, and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice to have

• PPR or IPTPA Instructor Certification
• Experience managing recreational programs or sports facilities
• Background in hospitality, community events, or café settings
• Passion for building community through sport and social connection
