What you'll do
- Greet guests promptly and provide menus while answering questions about menu items Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in periodically and responding to requests Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely food and drink delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas Handle payments and process transactions accurately Follow health and safety protocols to ensure food safety and guest wellbeing
What we're looking for
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking Basic math skills for handling payments Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Friendly and approachable demeanor
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a fast casual or fine dining restaurant Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling Experience upselling menu items and suggesting pairings Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends CPR and first aid certification
