About the Role
The Business Insurance Program Manager at Washington Hospitality Association plays a critical role in driving the sales and retention of the association's business insurance products and services. This position involves managing program goals, forecasting revenues, and collaborating closely with various teams and the Board of Directors to ensure the association's business insurance initiatives achieve their targets. You will be responsible for generating sales leads, maintaining high member satisfaction, managing CRM systems, and overseeing program enrollments, all while representing the association at industry events. What you'll do
- Generate sales through staff leads, cold calls, and member requests
- Prepare accurate revenue projections and develop goals to achieve forecasts
- Ensure member retention by providing excellent after-sales support and timely issue resolution
- Manage the association’s CRM interface and maintain data accuracy
- Present bi-monthly and quarterly goal status reports to supervisor and Board of Directors
- Maintain current and accurate creative collateral and ensure adequate supply
- Track performance benchmarks and monitor progress toward goals
- Oversee member enrollment into insurance programs
- Schedule and conduct weekly check-in calls with service providers and manage policy quotes
- Collaborate on member outreach plans and support Director of Business Development
- Represent the association by attending relevant industry events and promoting services
- Participate in all-team meetings, collaborate across departments, and uphold core organizational values

- Proven ability to close sales and manage objections effectively
- Experience working with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Experience with social media platforms and website content management
- Familiarity with database management systems
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and business insurance products
