About the Role

The Washington Hospitality Association is seeking a motivated and experienced Membership Territory Manager to spearhead our membership growth initiatives across designated regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with strong cold calling experience and the ability to build lasting relationships with hospitality businesses. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our network, engaging new members, and supporting the association's mission to advance hospitality industry interests in Washington. As a Membership Territory Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, executing sales strategies, and ensuring excellent member service. You will represent the association professionally and help foster a vibrant, engaged membership community. What you'll do

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow membership within the assigned territory Conduct outbound sales calls and outreach to potential members to build the association network Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing members Collaborate with internal teams to ensure member satisfaction and retention Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on growth opportunities Attend industry events and represent the association professionally Provide regular reports on membership progress and sales activities. Focusing on member retention strategies. New sales and retention. Willing to work on weekends occasionally.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably with cold calling and lead generation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have

  • Experience working within the hospitality industry Knowledge of the Washington hospitality market Familiarity with membership associations.
