About Carbide
Carbide makes enterprise-class security and privacy accessible to fast-growing companies. Our hybrid model, platform + expert advisor, helps customers embed best-practice security, meet frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CMMC, and use security as a business enabler.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Account Manager, Customer Growth to work directly with a portfolio of customers 1:1. The role is focused on understanding goals, designing uplift strategies, and turning evolving needs into practical solutions.
What You’ll Do
· Own relationships 1:1 with a defined book of accounts; run regular check-ins, QBRs, and executive touchpoints.
· Design uplift strategies tailored to each customer (e.g., advancing from Foundations to Fractional CISO, adding PTaaS, maturing controls toward SOC 2/ISO/CMMC).
· Translate needs into solutions: partner with Advisory and Product to scope the right mix of platform features, services, and timelines.
· Manage renewals proactively (60–90 days out), align value to business outcomes, and address commercial terms with clarity.
· Identify expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell) from discovery insights; build lightweight proposals and close with support from leadership when needed.
· Risk-spot & unblock: surface risks early, coordinate internal resources, and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
· Forecast accurately: keep renewals/expansions current; collaborate with Finance on contraction/expansion tracking.
· Be the voice of the customer: capture feedback, patterns, and wins; contribute to playbooks and enablement content.
What You Bring
· 2–5 years in B2B SaaS Account Management/CSM or Commercial AM roles with hands-on customer work.
· Strength in discovery, solutioning, and follow-through—you keep projects moving and people aligned.
· Comfortable discussing outcomes tied to security/privacy/compliance (nice if you’ve touched SOC 2/ISO/CMMC, not required).
· Clear communicator (written & live), empathetic listener, and confident facilitator with execs and practitioners.
· Organized and data-aware: pipeline/renewals, plans, and tracking, etc.
· Experience with HubSpot and Maxio is an asset.
