Carbon Origins' first deployment is Skippy, a last-mile delivery robot. Skippy offers premium features: hot/cold temperature regulation matching the temperature of food; self-sanitizing compartments; doorstep delivery; all at little to no cost to the customer and restaurant/store. Remote drivers (Skipsters) monitor multiple Skippys at a time using VR. Skippy uses neural-networks trained on real-life datasets, thus interventions are minimized. This enables a low cost delivery model further subsidized by on-robot digital advertisements geared towards a hyper-local audience.
