Role Overview:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering team and technological direction. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will design and develop:

• End-to-End AI Products: Architect and implement backend infrastructure, APIs, and user-facing front-end interfaces.
• AI Agent Platform: Oversee the complete development lifecycle of our AI agent platform, from conceptual architecture to deployment. Automate manual processes using the platform leveraging Generative AI.
• Scalable SaaS Platform: Engineer multi-tenant SaaS platforms on cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Environmental Footprint Calculation Engine: Develop the layer that computes environmental footprints in accordance with international standards.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive Backend Development Experience: 5+ years in developing robust backend systems.
• Cloud Services Acumen: Familiarity with web services and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Programming Proficiency: Expertise in one or more languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Scala, GoLang.
• AI/Machine Learning Fundamentals: Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and applications.
• Strong Computer Science Foundations: Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, security, and networking.
• Database Management: Experience with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and quickly learn new technologies.
• Flexible Schedule: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to collaborate across global timezones.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Understanding of the fundamentals of the science behind climate change. Familiarity with product life cycle assessment.
• Proficiency in building front-end applications using JavaScript/React.
• Prior experience at startups/fast growing companies.
