Role Overview:
We are looking for a full-time, remote detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist (Invoice Processing & Data Entry) to join our India-based remote team. In this role, you will work with invoices and other financial documents to ensure data accuracy and completeness. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and familiarity with data entry tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Annotate and extract data from invoices, receipts, and related documents.

  • Draw bounding boxes around fields on scanned invoices or PDFs.

  • Enter text and numerical data accurately into designated systems.

  • Verify invoice fields such as vendor details, dates, line items, totals, and taxes.

  • Perform basic arithmetic checks to ensure data accuracy.

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain data quality standards.

  • Report inconsistencies or discrepancies in documents.

  • Stay updated on basic invoicing and accounting practices relevant to your tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Strong English reading and writing skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic understanding of invoices, accounting terms, and financial documents.

  • Reliable internet connection and personal computing device.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, full-time.

  • Willingness to start immediately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Data Annotator, Labeler, Data Entry specialist, etc.

  • Prior experience with invoice processing, or bookkeeping.

  • Familiarity with accounting software or Excel for data validation.

  • Experience with document annotation tools or OCR software.

  • Understanding of invoicing basics (AR, AP, etc.)
