Overview:
Photographers and annotators are needed to capture and document a 741-image people dataset using professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Images will be used for AI/computer vision model training and must meet strict consistency standards for framing, settings, and metadata.
Responsibilities:
Photograph diverse subjects (gender, age, skin tone, ethnicity) indoors and outdoors.
Capture across three face-coverage tiers: >25%, 15–25%, and <15% of the field of view.
Save all files in RAW format (CR2 / NEF / ARW) at full sensor resolution.
Complete the DSLR Metadata Template for every image — all 33 fields required.
Record exact camera settings: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, and lens model.
Organise files by volume folder using YYYYMMDD + photographer ID naming convention.
Approved Equipment:
Camera Bodies: Canon R5 / R3 | Nikon Z8 / Z9 | Sony Alpha 9 III / A7 III / A7 IV
Lenses: Canon / Nikon / Sony high-quality telephoto, 70–200mm range
File Format: RAW only (CR2 / NEF / ARW) — JPEG not accepted
Quality Standards:
RAW format only — JPEG submissions rejected.
All metadata fields must be complete; no blank required fields.
Images must be sharp, correctly exposed, and in focus.
Face coverage must match the volume tier within ±5% tolerance.
Each image must have a unique filename and UUID.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Canon, Nikon, or Sony professional cameras.
Confident use of manual exposure settings (aperture, shutter, ISO, focal length).
Experience photographing people in varied environments.
Accuracy and consistency in data/metadata entry.
