We’re already working with 8 of the top 20 global pharma companies and a growing number of innovative biotech firms. With strong early traction, we’re now ready to scale — and we’re looking for our first dedicated sales hire to help us do it.

The Role
As our founding Account Executive, you’ll be the tip of the spear for growth. This is a full-cycle sales role: you’ll own everything from generating pipeline to closing deals and ensuring smooth handoff into onboarding. You’ll work directly with our CEO and product team to refine our go-to-market motion, experiment with new outreach strategies, and help shape the foundation of Cedience’s sales organization.

This is not a “plug-and-play” role with tons of inbound leads and SDR support — it’s a builder role. If you’re energized by hunting, experimenting, and winning with a scrappy team, this is for you.

What You’ll Do
• Lead generation: Drive outreach through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, conference follow-ups, and newsletter engagement.

• Full sales cycle: Run intro calls, demos, pilots, proposals, RFP responses, and contracts through close.

• Sales operations: Manage pipeline and outreach campaigns in HubSpot, ensuring disciplined follow-up and reporting.

• Market feedback: Work closely with leadership to share customer insights, help shape messaging, and refine Cedience’s GTM playbook.

• Represent Cedience: Attend key industry conferences and engage with pharma/biotech leaders on regulatory intelligence needs.

What We’re Looking For
• Proven full-cycle sales experience (min 3 years), ideally in B2B SaaS with enterprise life science customers.

• Demonstrated success in prospecting + closing new business

• Comfortable with ambiguity — thrives in a startup environment where you create the process as much as you follow it.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with executive stakeholders.

• Familiarity with regulatory, pharma, biotech, or healthcare SaaS is a plus, but not required.

• High ownership, grit, and a true builder’s mindset.

Fully Remote

Travel Requirements
• Must not require visa to travel to US or EU
• Travel to conferences (avg of 5 per year)

Compensation
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + early-stage equity
