About the Role

As the Technical Co-Founder, you will be both the architect and executor of ClubReq’s technical vision. This hands-on role requires a generalist who can manage full-stack development, integrate AI-powered solutions, and scale our technical infrastructure. You will work closely with the founding team to prioritize and develop features, maintain platform performance, and plan for future scalability. As the company grows, this role offers the potential to transition into the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), leading a larger technical team.

Compensation & Equity: As a co-founder, you will receive a significant equity stake in the company, ensuring your success is directly aligned with our growth. Additionally, this role will transition to a salaried position following a successful funding round.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Frontend Development: Build and maintain a seamless, responsive user interface using frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or similar.
• Backend Development: Develop robust APIs and backend services with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask),** **or Ruby on Rails
• Database Management: Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

AI Integration and Platform Optimization

• Integrate and refine AI-powered features such as job-matching algorithms, chatbots, and candidate evaluation tools using frameworks like OpenAI APIs, TensorFlow, or similar/
• Continuously enhance platform efficiency and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical challenges.

DevOps and Infrastructure

• Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and uptime.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
• Establish robust security protocols to protect sensitive user data.

Product and Feature Development

• Collaborate with the leadership team to design and prioritize the product roadmap.
• Build and release new features based on user feedback and business goals.

Strategic Technical Leadership

• Define and implement a scalable technical architecture to support growth.
• Prepare the groundwork for future technical hires and team expansion.
• Act as a technical visionary, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term innovation.

Who You Are (Skills and Experience)

Technical Expertise

• Frontend: Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Backend: Proficient in backend development with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Database Management: Experienced in designing and managing relational and NoSQL databases.
• AI/ML Knowledge: Familiar with implementing AI tools (OpenAI APIs, TensorFlow) and building custom models (preferred).
• DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms**,** Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Debugging and Optimization: Skilled at identifying and resolving technical issues and optimizing performance

Experience

• 8+ years of full-stack development, ideally in startups or SaaS environments.
• Proven ability to independently build, launch, and maintain scalable platforms.
• Demonstrated success in integrating AI/ML features and optimizing workflows.
• End-to-end product development experience from concept to deployment.
