Octagon Basketball seeks a dynamic, experienced professional with well-established contacts in Basketball and a track record of success in representing professional players. Responsibilities include recruiting and representing athletes, marketing, and negotiating client contracts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Recruit new clients and negotiate players’ contracts
• Assist in marketing and servicing of current and new clients
• Establish contacts within the basketball industry, including internationally
• Travel as needed in the performance of job responsibilities
• Other related duties as reasonably assigned

Required Qualifications:
College degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of professional basketball
Existing contacts within the basketball community
Proven record of successful representation of professional basketball players
Ability to bring existing clients to Octagon
Knowledge of the basketball systems within the US and abroad
Well-developed sales and marketing skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to use good business judgement and to make quick decisions in situations where discretion is required
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
Ability to travel as needed
