About Garden School

Founded in 1923, Garden School is a small, lower tuition NYC Nursery through 12th grade independent school in one of the most diverse neighborhoods on the planet, Jackson Heights, Queens. Garden School approaches its centennial with the same enthusiasm as always, to educate the whole person across a broad curriculum, preparing them to be caring, engaged citizens for the world ahead. Practice and Game Schedule:

• Ideal candidate: Looking for someone who is experienced in a youth setting, club, or school connections.
• August 19th – October 18th
• Practice: 3:30 – 5:30, Monday – Friday
• Games during the weekday, no weekends
• *The practices from August 19 – 29 will be around 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Head Coaches will (but not limited to):

• Breakdown and teach the fundamental skills for players at all levels
• Attend all scheduled games and practices
• Manage and coordinate practice and game plans
• Be responsible for handling all administrative duties related to their team
• Attend all scheduled games and practices
• Attend all necessary athletic and school meetings and events

Salary:

Please note that this is a part time and seasonal position averaging 6-10 hours a week. Coach pay rates range from $2,500.00-$3,000.00 depending on coach level (assistant vs. head) and experience.
