Walther Christian Academy is a Christian School in Melrose Park, IL. Our goal is to bring back the winning tradition that Walther Christian once had in the 90’s and early 2000’s. This program has sent dozens of football players to Division I, II, and III schools. We are looking for driven coaches who are going to dedicate their time and talent to making our program better. If you have experience or knowledge of area youth football programs, that would be great.

Responsibilities:

– Assist the head football coach in planning and implementing practice sessions and game strategies

– Provide guidance and instruction to players on proper techniques, skills, and game strategies

– Assist in evaluating player performance and providing feedback for improvement

– Help create a positive and supportive team environment

– Assist with organizing team events and activities

– Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop and implement training programs

Requirements:

– Experience working with students in a coaching or teaching capacity

– Knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to effectively educate and motivate players

– Excellent organizational and time management skills

– Ability to work well in a team environment

– CPR/AED certification (Required). We can help with this.

– Valid driver’s license

Note: Experience coaching in high school is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3,000.00 – $4,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week

Grade levels:
• 10th grade
• 11th grade
• 12th grade
• 9th grade

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
